The staff was kind and helpful. The traditional portuguese tiles in the room were especially beautiful. The location is fantastic. I found it easy to access various parts of the city from there.
The walls seemed thin. I could hear noises from neighboring rooms.

The hotel is conveniently located for exploring the city. I could easily reach the venues i wanted to visit by walking, a great advantage for seeing the sites without relying on transportation. The hotel's location allowed easy access to public transport options too.

The breakfast service was a real treat and totally delicious. The staff provided excellent service. They were very helpful especially when i needed assistance with online train tickets and app installations. I found them attentive and responsive to my needs.

polite staff delicious breakfast high price limited payment
the staff were very polite. nothing seemed too much trouble for them. breakfast was delicious. it was cooked to order. it was a refreshing change from the usual buffet offering that most hotels provided on my holiday.
the hotel doesn't have parking. there is a nearby safe underground parking garage. it is pricey and does not accept international bank cards even mastercard and visa.

delicious breakfast personal touches
The breakfast was delicious. There was a lot of choice. I also liked several personal touches they included. The room was very spacious and well decorated.
The hotel was slightly out from the centre. It made transport a bit more complicated.

Lovely Stay at a TRUE Gem
cozy rooms amazing breakfast rare hospitality
Staying in this seventeenth-century palace was special. I loved the charm and character of the hotel. The common areas were beautifully maintained, and the rooms were impeccably clean and cozy. Breakfast was AMAZING!!! The hospitality was such a treasure to experience.
